Technical Equipment

The Historische Stadthalle meets all the requirements of a modern communication event venue. The spectrum of possible event formats is practically limitless: from the most elaborate automotive and product presentations via trade fairs, every imaginable type of concert, film, television and CD productions to live transmissions from all rooms via the Internet or into the building, we can make whatever you need available.

Regardless of whether you are organising a meeting, seminar, congress or a festive occasion such as an anniversary or wedding, our exclusive partner, Culinaria, can meet all your catering needs for every type of event. They will be happy to assist you with personal advice on how to turn your event into a memorable occasion.

Culinaria offers catering perfectly tailored to your needs and budget, from snacks or buffets to festive banquets of any size whether for 20 or 2,000 guests – and of course anywhere in the Historische Stadthalle from the Großer Saal to the terrace. The kitchen and service team attach the utmost importance to quality, freshness, creativity and presentation.

You will find comprehensive information on the range of services on offer on the Culinaria website where you can submit no obligation, online enquiries detailing the catering needs for your event. The Culinaria team will also be delighted to discuss possible options with you personally.

BEFORE AND AFTER THE EVENT

Culinaria offers sparkling refreshments before events and during intervals in its bars in the foyer.

The Rossini Restaurant on the lower ground floor is open after events in the Großer Saal (as well as two hours before events that begin in the Großer Saal at 7.30 or 8 pm)

CONCERT & LUNCH

After the 11 am Sunday morning symphony concert, Culinaria, in cooperation with the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, has something special on offer for you in the Rossini Restaurant: a classic Sunday lunch which is included in the ticket price.

The “Konzert & Lunch” subscription (ABO F) covers 10 symphony concerts followed by lunch. Of course, there is nothing to stop you from deciding spontaneously to go to the “Rossini” for lunch or for an à la carte meal after the matinée.
