The Historische Stadthalle is located in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia and lies in the centre of Wuppertal-Elberfeld – the town of short distances. We are easily reached by public transport and from Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Cologne airports. The high-speed ICE train station, local bus stops, numerous hotels and the town centre are all within walking distance.

Should you be travelling by car, you will find parking spaces (and an underground car park) between the Historische Stadthalle, the Schwimmoper swimming pool and the Vienna House Easy Wuppertal Hotel, as well as in the multi-storey car park on the “Johannisberg” road as described in the route map mentioned below. A 46 FROM DÜSSELDORF
Exit Wuppertal-Cronenberg-Ronsdorf / Kiesbergtunnel – follow the L418 – exit Wuppertal-Elberfeld / Universität – after the tunnel, continue on Neviandtstrasse / Viehhofstrasse – at the end of the road, turn left into Südstrasse – go straight across the Bahnhofstrasse – the car park and multi-storey car park Stadthalle/Hotel are immediately after the crossroads on the right-hand side.

A 46 FROM WUPPERTAL NORD
Exit Wuppertal Katernberg – get into the right-hand lane direction Elberfeld – follow the signs to Parkzone Stadthalle/Johannisberg.

FLAT PARKING DAY RATE
Make use of our flat day rate for parking at the pay stations in the multi-storey car parks or in the stairwell. It only costs 4 Euros. By paying at your leisure before the event, you will avoid having to wait at the pay stations at the end of the event.

Electric car charging points in our multi-storey car parks
You will find two charging points for electric cars in each of the multi-storey car parks that are close to the Historische Stadthalle, the “Hotel/Stadthalle” and the “Johannisberg”. Information about the “WSW eMobil Flat-Rate Charging Card” can be found here. In exceptional cases it is possible to borrow a charging card from the personnel of the car park.
