The work by Sunghyun Lee shows what contemporary music written for a large orchestra can sound like today. The prizewinning Korean composer is currently preparing for his final concert examination under the supervision of Professor Oliver Schneller. In his new piece, he combines traditional Korean music with contemporary sounds. The Symphony Orchestra of the Robert Schumann Hochschule is also performing a solo concerto with the winner of the Sieghard Rometsch Competition for Solo Instruments and Solo Voice.
